QuelmarCon began with a simple gathering in State College, PA in 2021. That year about 30 attendants gathered in one house, playing across two tables and renting a nearby airbnb. The next year the convention grew substantially to include all friends who could make the trip. Instead of a local's house, we instead were able to rent a larger location nearby State College, and then we moved to a whole Quelmar Campus in 2023 thanks to the friends at Fox Haven Farm.​ After an Online Convention in 2024 to allow the community to gather from anywhere on earth, we're back at Fox Haven for 2025.
