QuelmarCon Policies
Like any good convention, there are rules to be followed.
Covid Policy
If you are experiencing symptoms before arrival, do not attend QuelmarCon. We can refund last minute badges and rooms for reasons of sickness.
Venue Policies
NO FIREWORKS PLEASE, IT SCARES THE COWS, CRITTERS, AND NEIGHBORS.
No open flames in the barns.
Only spend time in the buildings we rented please.
Smoking allowed in designated areas OUTSIDE with all butts going into the buckets, NOT on the ground.
QUIET HOURS ARE 10:00 P.M. - 8:00 A.M.
100% extinguish any fires in the fire pit, in a fireplace, or in a wood stove before you leave the area/house.
In the big red barn, you may only use the first and second floors. Do not enter the 3rd floor or 4th floor. We use these areas for the farm.
Walking the trails is wonderful! No vehicles are allowed on them though.
No hunting on the property.
No use of glitter, paper/plastic confetti allowed outdoors as it kills birds.
If you have a service dog, we ask that it is on leash when outside and that you never leave it alone in the house/dairy parlor/barn.
PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY ITEMS IN OR AROUND BARN WITHOUT PERMISSION & STAY OFF OF ANY EQUIPMENT
We are a working farm, so please stay out of the areas designated for the farm.
Please feel free to say hi to us as we farm, as you might see us around during your stay.
Lodging Policies
These Policies apply strictly to those staying or residing in the on-site lodgings.
We ask that guests leave the house and grounds clean; dishes put in dishwasher and run, all towels and sheets put in laundry room, trash and recycling in cans when you leave.
There is no smoking.
We ask that guests follow the directions if you want to use the woodstove and/or fire place - we leave directions at the house.
Please do not try to adjust heat/central air register.
Ideally, the less plastic used the better. The water is good filtered well water.
No pets on site.
